Hope
No hope for tomorrow.
No hope for today and my past was a burden that got in my way.
Then I met Jesus and my path I did reverse.
Now I live my life anew not under a curse.
I've found hope for tomorrow,
I've found hope in today and my past,
well that's forgotten and cast far, far away.
So if you are broken of heart and down in your life
don't stay where you are, buried in strife.
Come and meet Jesus, he's been where you are.
He to was abandoned, his body's been scarred.
He knows how to love and he will teach it to you
and you will never be alone, your life will be new.
Then let our knees be bowed and let our tongues confess
that Jesus is both friend and Savior in him we've found rest.
